How Are Dollarparking Trading Fees Calculated?

Dollarparking trading fees are calculated by adding any fees based on the trading time and payment token to the base fee.

Buying $1,000 of Tesla stock tokens with USDC in the evening
This example assumes a USDC trade outside regular U.S. market hours.
Base fee 0.2% + additional fee outside regular market hours 0.1% + additional USDC fee 0% = 0.30%
The fee on a $1,000 purchase is $3.
Buying $1,000 of an S&P 500 token with USDC during regular U.S. market hours
This example assumes a product with a 0.10% promotional fee traded with USDC during regular U.S. market hours.
Promotional fee 0.10% + additional USDC fee 0% = 0.10%
The fee on a $1,000 purchase is $1.

When does the additional fee for trading outside regular market hours apply?
U.S. regular market hours change depending on whether daylight saving time is in effect.
The table below shows when the additional fee applies in U.S. Eastern Time (ET).

When does daylight saving time change?

When daylight saving time begins, the local clock moves from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
When daylight saving time ends, the local clock moves from 2:00 a.m. back to 1:00 a.m.

The trading fee therefore goes to the counterparty that completes the order, not to Dollarparking.
